Fees

Unfortunately, it is not always possible to quote legal fees over the phone or via e-mail.  Fees for the types of cases I take on are either charged on an hourly basis, at a flat rate, or on a contingency basis. 

Hourly rates are usually billed between $175-200 per hour.  In cases where retainers are required, they generally run between $500-$2,000, depending on the type and complexity of the case.  Fees for cases taken on a contingency basis are not collected until money has been recovered.  For more information, please contact us.

Fees for a Chapter 13 Bankruptcy are $3,000, but only $1,650 is due at the time of filing and includes the filing fee of $274 and required credit counseling fees.  The remaining attorney fees will be paid through the plan.

Fees for a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy are $1,350 and includes the filing fee of $299, required credit counseling fees and fees required to pull a credit report.
